Hello I’m Eliott Dae Kwon, an actor, theatre performer, and model :)

​

I was born and raised in Seoul, South Korea, and later studied musical theatre at the

Victorian College of the Arts in Melbourne, Australia, where I also began working in the industry.

Along the way, I continued to train in jazz, ballet, acting, and singing in cities including London and New York.

​

I first fell in love with musical theatre after seeing CATS as a child. From then on, I wanted to become a performer

who could bring singing, dancing, and acting together as one language, rather than treating them as separate skills.

In particular, I have always been drawn to the expressive power of movement and the way the body can tell a story

beyond words. This led me to explore ballet, jazz, contemporary, and street dance, and has shaped the way

I approach character and emotion both on stage and through film.

My theatre credits include EQUUS, Turandot, Nutcracker, American Idiot, and more.

My film work includes ANYTHING, Leftover, Where Love Meets the Blade, The Broadcast,

and other short and independent film projects.

I have also worked as an assistant director on I. Aphrodisia and II. Dysphoria, directed by Team Cloverniel.

Alongside my work as a performer and model, I have worked across commercial, editorial, and promotional projects,

including campaigns, events, and productions for brands and platforms

such as Samsung Galaxy, Chanel, Netflix, and PAP Magazine, as well as Hermès: Mystery at the Grooms.

I am drawn to characters who can connect with an audience in unexpected ways —

from the wit and theatricality of the Engineer in Miss Saigon, the Emcee in Cabaret, and the Leading Player in Pippin,

to characters that call for a quieter, more vulnerable kind of expression.

I want to explore a wide range of emotions and characters in a way that feels truthful to me, and ultimately become the

kind of performer whose work can make people laugh, feel, reflect, and sometimes simply feel a little less alone.

With the experiences I have gained across different forms of performance,

I am now focused on expanding my work internationally, pursuing opportunities in theatre and film

while continuing to build my career from Korea and Australia.

I hope to create work that moves freely across borders and cultures, and to establish myself as a performer

who can connect the Korean creative scene with the wider international stage.

For me, the goal is not simply to leave Seoul, but to build a career that allows me to work all around the world.

​

Outside of acting, I have worked as a professional barista and Korean-English interpreter, experiences that have allowed me

to meet people from different backgrounds and see the world from perspectives beyond the stage.

I also make time for the things that simply make me feel like myself — painting, photography, baking,

and spending time with my family, friends, colleagues, and my dog, Bamee.

I believe these experiences, both on and off stage, continue to shape who I am as a person and as a performer.
